Professional Experience:
Rural Development Professional with 3 years of experience in programme management, livelihoods, producer institution development, value-chain strengthening, monitoring and evaluation, research, and stakeholder coordination. Experienced in implementing government-funded, donor-supported and public-private partnership programmes across Bihar, with a focus on rural livelihoods, agriculture, livestock, women-led institutions and poverty graduation.
Currently working as Young Professional – Livelihoods (Programme Management) with Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS–JEEViKA), across Kishanganj and Araria. Managing and supporting an INR 18+ crore livelihoods portfolio reaching 85,000+ households through farm and non-farm interventions. Responsibilities include programme planning, implementation, monitoring, stakeholder coordination, institution building and market-linkage development.
Key experience includes the JEEViKA Special Purpose Vehicle for Agricultural Transformation (JSPVAT), a Gates Foundation-supported livestock value-chain initiative. Mobilised 93 Goat Producer Groups covering 3,720 farmers and supported their integration into Seemanchal Jeevika Goat Producer Company Limited, which scaled to 19,956 women shareholders. Contributed to producer mobilisation, production planning, animal health, procurement, aggregation, market linkages and retail operations. The initiative generated INR 11.69 crore turnover, INR 4.09 crore in farmer payouts and INR 69.62 lakh profit.
Experienced in livelihood diversification across livestock, poultry, fisheries and dairy, supporting 2,500 poultry farmers, 304 fisheries farmers and 2,767 dairy producers across 79 Dairy Cooperative Societies. Implemented Integrated Poultry Development and Integrated Goat & Sheep Development interventions covering farmer mobilisation, training, infrastructure, vaccination, traceability and market linkage.
Under Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojana, designed the Logical Framework Approach and Theory of Change for a poverty graduation programme targeting 4,200 ultra-poor households; 3,940 households (94%) exceeded the INR 1 lakh annual income threshold through structured mentoring, micro-planning and enterprise diversification.
Strong experience in MEL/MEAL, MIS reporting, primary research and quantitative analysis, including coordination with Aga Khan Foundation, GIZ, MicroSave, PRADAN, BFIL and J-PAL. Also supported DDU-GKY interventions, organising six job fairs for 600+ candidates and strengthening 2,000+ SHG members through farm and non-farm enterprise training.
Earlier experience with NDDB Dairy Services included market assessment across 35 potential markets and engagement with 507 stakeholders to analyse price spreads, margins and demand-supply dynamics for FPC market-entry strategies. At Adani Agri Logistics, monitored 25,004 MT of wheat procurement and assessed 1,048 consignments for quality compliance. Experience with Aga Khan Rural Support Programme included Participatory Action Research, PRA, livelihood vulnerability assessment and microplanning.
