Education:
My academic foundation is built upon a Master of Arts in Social Work with a specialization in Dalit and Tribal Studies & Action from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, completed between 2016 and 2018. This rigorous program provided the critical theoretical framework and practical grounding for my career, deeply immersing me in the socio-political dynamics, historical contexts, and contemporary challenges facing marginalized communities in India. It equipped me with the lenses of social justice, policy analysis, and community-centric action that directly inform my professional approach to research, stakeholder engagement, and program design.
Prior to this, I earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, which laid the groundwork for my understanding of the social sciences and humanities.
Recognizing the evolving landscape of development work, I have proactively supplemented my formal education with a suite of strategic certifications to enhance my technical and analytical capabilities. This includes Python for Data Science, Microsoft Power BI (PL-300 Certification Prep), and training in Prompt Engineering for AI Applications, which allow me to incorporate data-driven decision-making and leverage modern tools for research and monitoring. Furthermore, I have pursued specialized knowledge in Corporate ESG & Sustainability, Climate Change & Sustainability, and Corporate Social Responsibility (including an ESG Job Simulation with TATA), aligning my skill set with contemporary priorities in the development and corporate sectors. Additional certifications in Public Health Policy & Management and workshops on AI-Powered Reference Management Tools further demonstrate my commitment to continuous, cross-disciplinary learning. This blend of deep thematic expertise from my master's degree and self-driven technical upskilling creates a unique and potent skill set for designing and managing impactful, evidence-based development initiatives.
