Professional Experience:

I am a qualified **MBA (Rural Management)** professional with nearly **18 years of experience** in the development sector, specializing in **Social Mobilisation, Financial Inclusion/Microfinance, and Livelihood Promotion**. My career has been dedicated to empowering marginalized communities, strengthening grassroots institutions, and contributing to sustainable development initiatives through large-scale projects supported by the **World Bank, DFID, UNDP, and ADB**.

Over the years, I have gained extensive expertise in **social mobilisation processes**, ensuring that communities actively participate in their own development. I have facilitated the formation and strengthening of **Common Interest Groups (CIGs), Joint Liability Groups (JLGs), Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs), and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and their federations**. My efforts have focused on training and mobilizing these groups, enabling them to access microfinance, establish bank linkages, and benefit from various government schemes and entitlements. These initiatives have directly contributed to improved livelihoods and enhanced financial resilience at the grassroots level.

In the domain of **financial inclusion**, I have worked extensively on **SHG bank linkages, enterprise finance, digital finance, and social security schemes**. By promoting innovative approaches to financial literacy and access, I have supported the integration of marginalized communities into formal financial systems. This has not only strengthened their economic independence but also reduced their vulnerability to informal and exploitative lending practices.

A significant part of my professional journey has involved **training and capacity building**. I have designed and delivered training modules for staff, community cadres, and stakeholders, building their knowledge, skills, and confidence to drive sustainable change. My ability to mentor teams and build strong local leadership has ensured effective program delivery and long-term community ownership.

I also possess substantial experience in **loan administration and credit management**. I have managed processes such as loan appraisals, document verification, credit sanctioning, and monitoring, while implementing robust **risk control strategies**. Through careful planning and team mentoring, I have consistently achieved targets within budgetary parameters, ensuring the sustainability of credit and livelihood programs.

My work has also encompassed **surveys, impact assessments, monitoring, evaluation, and data analysis**, which have strengthened evidence-based decision-making in projects. Additionally, I have been actively involved in **policy formulation, proposal development, documentation of activities, and showcasing best practices** for wider replication and scaling. This has enabled the demonstration of successful models that can be adopted by other programs and stakeholders.

Beyond technical expertise, I bring strong **leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills**. I am adept at creating and sustaining a positive work environment that fosters collaboration, motivation, and performance. My ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders—including government bodies, financial institutions, NGOs, and community groups—has been central to achieving impact at scale.

In summary, my professional experience reflects a balance of grassroots engagement, program management, and strategic planning. I combine **analytical ability, leadership, and team management** with a passion for social equity and inclusive growth. With proven expertise in social mobilisation, financial inclusion, and livelihood promotion, I remain committed to advancing development goals that empower communities and ensure sustainable outcomes.

Education:

I have pursued a diverse academic journey that has provided me with a strong foundation in computer applications, technical skills, and specialized knowledge in rural management. My educational background reflects both technical expertise and a deep commitment to social development, enabling me to bridge the gap between technology and community-focused initiatives.

I began my academic career with a **Bachelor of Computer Applications (B.C.A.) from the College of Computers and Communication, from Jabalpur MP (2000–2003)**. This program provided me with a solid understanding of computer systems, software development, and programming concepts. Along with core subjects in computer science, the course also enhanced my analytical abilities, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, which continue to support me in both professional and social development contexts. To strengthen my technical base, I pursued a **Diploma in Computer Maintenance (2000–2001)** from the same institution. This hands-on program gave me practical exposure to hardware systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer networks, which complemented my B.C.A. degree and gave me a well-rounded understanding of both hardware and software.

After gaining this strong technical foundation, I moved towards management and development studies to align my career with social impact. I enrolled in the **MBA in Rural Management (2004–2006) at the Xavier Institute of Development Action & Studies (XIDAS), Jabalpur (M.P.)**. This program was a turning point in my education as it provided a comprehensive understanding of rural development, community engagement, project planning, and sustainable practices. The curriculum focused not only on management principles but also on applying these skills to grassroots-level initiatives, enabling me to understand the socio-economic dynamics of rural India.

During my MBA program, I undertook a significant **internship project on the Eradication of Child Labour (July 2005 – August 2005)** in collaboration with LIPICA, an NGO working in the slum areas of Kukudakhandi block, Ganjam District, Orissa. This five-week field assignment allowed me to study the prevalence of child labour, its socio-economic causes, and community-based interventions to mitigate it. The internship gave me first-hand exposure to working with marginalized groups, conducting field surveys, engaging with local communities, and understanding the challenges faced by NGOs in implementing child rights and education initiatives.
This combination of technical and management education has shaped me into a professional who can work across domains—technology, administration, and development. While my early education in computer applications and hardware gave me problem-solving and technical skills, my MBA in Rural Management and internship experience deepened my understanding of social development and grassroots realities.
In summary, my educational journey reflects a balance between technical competence and social commitment. It has equipped me with the tools to analyze challenges, design practical solutions, and contribute meaningfully to both organizational growth and community development. I see my education not just as academic learning, but as a pathway to integrate knowledge with action, particularly in addressing issues of rural development, social justice, and empowerment.

In **NRLM, District Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh)**, I played a central role in strengthening SHGs and advancing financial access. I provided **bank/credit linkages to 16,804 SHGs**, facilitating loan disbursements of nearly **750 crores** for livelihood activities. As of July 2024, the district maintains an outstanding loan portfolio of **107.26 crores across 8,314 SHGs**, with NPAs at just **2.5%**, reflecting robust credit discipline and community ownership.

Promoting **Digital Finance**, I successfully established **169 BC Sakhis** serving **676 villages**, ensuring doorstep banking for rural households. I also placed **90 Bank Sakhis in bank branches** and **140 FLCRPs in service villages**, strengthening financial inclusion outreach. Further, I implemented the **dual authentication process** for SHG/VO/CLF transactions, enhancing transparency and accountability.

In summary, my affiliations and achievements highlight a consistent commitment to **strengthening SHGs, advancing financial inclusion, expanding digital finance, and enabling sustainable livelihoods**. By leading large-scale program implementation, building community institutions, and pioneering innovative practices, I have contributed to measurable social impact and created models that can be scaled across states.
