Education:
My education has been an interdisciplinary journey that connects literature, communication, and community development, giving me both academic depth and practical insight to serve people and communities.
I began with a Master’s in English Literature, which sharpened my communication skills and ability to interpret social and cultural narratives. This foundation helped me understand identity, gender, and community issues—insights that continue to shape my work in women’s empowerment and social change.
Building on this, I pursued a Master’s in Media Management, where I gained strategic and organizational skills in communication planning. This training prepared me to design and manage campaigns that create awareness and drive behavior change in areas such as health, sanitation, and education.
My academic path culminated in a PhD in Mass Communication and Journalism, where my research focused on how participatory communication and media can empower marginalized groups and support development. This experience gave me both theoretical depth and research-based tools to design, evaluate, and strengthen programmes with measurable social impact.
To further connect theory with practice, I completed a Certificate in Community Development from THREAD, India, focusing on health, nutrition, and education. This hands-on training provided field exposure, deepened my understanding of grassroots realities, and reinforced my commitment to inclusive development.
Together, these academic experiences have prepared me to integrate knowledge with action, communication with empowerment, and leadership with service—values that guide my professional work in livelihood, community development, and women-led entrepreneurship.
