Professional Experience:

I bring a diverse blend of academic expertise in International Relations, hands-on experience across multiple sectors, and a strong commitment to social impact. My professional journey reflects adaptability, cross-cultural engagement, and a dedication to advancing research, policy, and community initiatives.

Most recently, I served as a Residential Advisor at Y Suites, Canberra (Feb 2024 – Jun 2025), where I provided residential support to a multicultural student community. My role required conflict resolution, peer mentorship, event coordination, and academic guidance, strengthening my leadership and interpersonal skills while fostering an inclusive living environment.

In parallel, I completed an Event Planning and Public Engagement Internship at the Australian Institute of International Affairs (Jan 2024 – May 2024). Here, I planned and executed high-profile events, managed logistics and budgets, coordinated itineraries, and built valuable professional networks. This experience deepened my understanding of international affairs outreach and enhanced my organizational and public engagement capabilities.

Earlier, as a Content Writer for Track2Training (Jul 2021 – Oct 2021), I produced articles on “Leadership in Education” for external stakeholders, honing my research, writing, and communication skills. I also worked as a Summer Intern at Victora Auto Private Limited (Jul 2021 – Aug 2021), where I mapped production, planning, and control processes to optimize stock levels and minimize air freight costs during the post-COVID supply chain recovery.

At Parimal Pathshala (Feb 2021 – Apr 2021), I designed and developed a teachers’ professional handbook by analyzing and finalizing effective, research-based teaching strategies. In The World Bank Group internship (Dec 2019 – Jan 2020), I conducted research on social and cultural barriers to nutrition service uptake in West African nations, contributing to policy-relevant insights.

My commitment to social causes is evident in my long-term volunteer work with Kind Beings NGO (Mar 2020 – Jun 2022), where I supported educational initiatives for underprivileged children. I have also led and contributed to environmental and social awareness campaigns, including plantation drives, food and staples collection during COVID-19, street plays on environmental conservation, and cultural events for old-age homes.

Beyond professional roles, my academic projects bridge theory and practice in areas such as gender, violence, migration, humanitarianism, and the politics of memory. For instance, I authored a research essay on U.S. non-state actors’ struggle to pass House Resolution 121 (“Comfort Women” resolution) and conducted studies on the mental health impacts of gender-based violence in India.

My background is supported by global academic exposure, including a Master of International Relations from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Symbiosis Centre of Management Studies. Alongside, I have undertaken multiple certifications in gender, climate, social inclusion, and mental health, equipping me with interdisciplinary perspectives.

Across all roles, I have consistently demonstrated the ability to navigate complex issues, manage events and projects, conduct rigorous research, and engage diverse communities. I thrive in environments that demand adaptability, analytical thinking, and a balance between strategic vision and practical implementation. My ultimate goal is to leverage these skills to contribute to initiatives at the intersection of international relations, gender, and social development, with lasting local and global impact.

Education:

My academic journey has been shaped by a strong interdisciplinary foundation that combines business administration and international relations, backed by practical research experience and policy-focused skills.

I completed my Master of International Relations at the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra, where I achieved a GPA of 6.063/7. This program has enabled me to explore the complexities of global politics, diplomacy, and governance from both theoretical and practical perspectives. I have studied a wide range of subjects, from International Relations Theory, Evolution of the International System, and Global Ethics to specialized areas such as Gender, Violence, and Development, Race and Global Politics, Global Migration, Transnational Diplomacy, The role of Non-State actors in East- Asia Diplomacy and Right-Wing Politics. These courses have helped me critically examine global issues like terrorism, state fragility, migration governance, racial justice, and gender-based violence.

I have also gained deeper regional expertise through courses like China’s Global Engagement and Changing Geopolitics in the Pacific, as well as advanced skills in Research Design and Methods in Global Politics, where I learned to design rigorous research for both academic and policymaking contexts.

Before this, I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration (June 2019 – May 2022) from the Symbiosis Centre of Management Studies, Noida, graduating with a GPA of 8.41/10. This degree gave me a strong grounding in strategic management, leadership, and analytics, while also strengthening my skills in administration, problem-solving, and communication—skills that continue to support my work in the international relations space.

Alongside my formal degrees, I have pursued certificate and non-credit courses from institutions such as the World Bank, Yale University, University of Florida, Wesleyan University, and the Government of India’s Ministry of Human Resource Development. These courses have expanded my expertise into areas like Gender in Social Development, Environmental and Social Frameworks, Climate and Disaster Risk Management, Financial Markets, Business Analytics, and Memory Psychology. I have also undertaken training in Mental Health First Aid, Responding to Disclosures of Sexual Assault, and Substance Abuse Prevention, reflecting my interest in social well-being and community engagement.

My academic projects have been equally diverse. I have researched topics such as the role of gender in shaping international security, the political economy of sexual violence in conflict zones, and the mental health impacts of domestic violence. My 2025 research essay, Echoes of Injustice, examined the challenges faced by U.S. non-state actors in passing the “Comfort Women” resolution (House Resolution 121). I have also worked on policy analysis for girl child welfare schemes in India, business planning for a hydroponic farm, and market evaluations of global companies.

Overall, my education has helped me develop a rare blend of critical global awareness, empirical research capabilities, and applied problem-solving skills, tools I intend to carry forward into roles in diplomacy, policy research, and global development.

Affiliations and Achievements:

Beyond my formal professional experience, I have been actively engaged in a wide range of social initiatives, co-curricular programs, academic projects, and volunteer work that have contributed to my holistic development and strengthened my leadership, research, and interpersonal skills.

My commitment to community service has been consistent over the years, beginning with my extensive volunteering for Kind Beings NGO in India, where I worked to provide access to education for underprivileged children. As a member of the Social Responsibility Club during my undergraduate studies, I participated in and led initiatives such as plantation drives in Haryana, environmental conservation campaigns through street plays, and awareness drives on the harmful effects of single-use plastics. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I played a central role in designing and implementing awareness campaigns to minimize infection risks among students and coordinated food and staple collection drives to support vulnerable communities. Additionally, I co-organized a cultural program for an old-age home, furthering intergenerational engagement and social inclusion.

In the co-curricular sphere, I have completed several specialized certificate programs from the World Bank, including Re-Thinking Gender in Social Development, Environmental and Social Framework Fundamentals, and Nature-Based Solutions: Advancing Gender and Social Inclusion in Climate and Disaster Risk Management. I have also undertaken non-credit training in Standard Mental Health First Aid (Australia), Responding to Disclosures of Sexual Assault, and Substance Abuse Prevention and Management. These courses have sharpened my ability to approach sensitive issues like gender-based violence, mental health, and community resilience with informed, empathetic, and practical solutions.

My academic engagement extends beyond coursework into thought leadership and mentoring. I published the article Examining Violence against Women in Northern Nigeria: The Boko Haram Case in the Australian Institute of International Affairs’ Australian Outlook, reflecting my ability to conduct nuanced research on complex issues like gender (https://www.internationalaffairs.org.au/australianoutlook/examining-violence-against-women-in-northern-nigeria-the-boko-haram-case). As a SET4ANU mentor, I have guided incoming students in adjusting to academic and social life at the Australian National University. I am also an active member of the ANU International Relations Society and the ANU Astronomy Club, broadening my interdisciplinary engagement.

At the undergraduate level, I supplemented my studies with online courses from institutions like Yale University, Wesleyan University, and the University of Florida on subjects such as financial markets, business analytics, leadership, and memory psychology. These have provided me with a diverse analytical toolkit that complements my formal education. My leadership experience also includes serving on the Organizing Committee for Model United Nations and contributing as a content writer for Haryali NGO.

My academic projects showcase a sustained focus on gender politics, violence, and security studies. These include a research essay on the U.S. “Comfort Women” Resolution, a case study on the mental health impacts of marital and dating violence in India, a critical review of sexual violence during the Rwandan genocide, and an analysis of gender’s role in shaping international security. My projects also span applied research, such as a hydroponic farming start-up plan, policy evaluations on girl child welfare schemes, and a business environment study of Cadbury India.

Collectively, these affiliations and achievements reflect my dedication to social responsibility, academic excellence, and continuous learning. They demonstrate my ability to bridge theory and practice, engage with diverse communities, and contribute meaningfully to social, academic, and global issue
