Professional Experience:
• Departmental Leadership & Budget Oversight: Leads all administrative and procurement functions for the India country program, managing a 5-member team and directing operations with an annual administrative budget of 55k USD.
• Team Leadership & Development: Guides, mentors, and builds the capacity of a team of 3 administrative officers and 2 support staff, fostering a culture of high performance, professional development, and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Strategic Procurement & Contract Management: Directs procurement strategy, the full lifecycle of vendor contracts, and all sourcing operations for multi-state programs and large-scale humanitarian emergencies.
• External Relations & Contract Management: Serves as the primary liaison with landlords, legal counsel, and key operational vendors, managing all contractual negotiations and lease agreements to secure favorable terms and ensure compliance.
• Risk & Crisis Management: As Security and Safety Focal Point for the India Program, ensures full compliance with global policies to guarantee staff safety and business continuity during disease outbreaks, natural disasters, and other crises.
• Global Mobility & Compliance: Serves as the key liaison with regulatory and government authorities to facilitate the legal engagement of all expatriate staff, ensuring full compliance with visa, work permit, and other statutory requirements.
• Policy Governance & Implementation: Spearheads the development, refinement, and enforcement of all internal policies on procurement, travel, safety, and asset management, mitigating risk and ensuring 100% vendor and organizational compliance.
• Infrastructure & Project Management: Executes time-sensitive office relocations and the establishment of new state-level offices, managing all logistics and providing comprehensive mobility support for national and expatriate staff.
