Professional Experience:

I have worked across leading organizations in the development and research sector, including The Research and Evaluation Centre (UK), Campbell South Asia, Defence Research and Studies (DRaS), WWF India, TechStory, CBD Marketing Solutions, and Smile India Trust, contributing to evidence-based research, evaluation, communications, and outreach.

At The Research and Evaluation Centre, I served as a Junior Research Associate, contributing to Evidence and Gap Map (EGM) projects. I worked extensively with EPPI Reviewer for systematic evidence coding, drafted analytical summaries, and used Shiny App to visualize data, supporting clear and actionable decision-making for international development stakeholders.

During my internship with Campbell South Asia & Global Development Network, I supported the Evaluation and Evidence Synthesis team by conducting a systematic literature review on UN Peacekeeping Operations. My responsibilities included applying coding frameworks, synthesizing results, and identifying research gaps, culminating in presentations to stakeholders such as the American Institutes for Research (AIR).

At Defence Research and Studies (DRaS), I conducted qualitative research on Arctic geopolitics and climate change, authoring published analysis on the long-term strategic implications of environmental change and its impact on global governance.

With WWF India, I strengthened organizational outreach as part of the Marketing and Communications team, contributing to the 2023 Fundraising Brochure, proofreading key documents, and supporting the planning and execution of Earth Hour 2023, which enhanced WWF’s visibility and advocacy.

Earlier, at TechStory and CBD Marketing Solutions, I developed editorial leadership and content management skills, supervising teams, editing high-volume content, and producing SEO-driven articles across multiple domains. Additionally, I gained experience in inclusive education through volunteer teaching with Smile India Trust, designing and delivering English language and critical thinking lessons for underserved students.

Education:

An interdisciplinary academic foundation combining International Relations and English, supported by additional certifications in development research, provides a comprehensive base for work in research, communication, and editing. Academic training was focused on developing critical analysis, academic writing, and a deep understanding of global systems, discourse, and developmental challenges.

Undergraduate education in English Studies and Research emphasized textual analysis, linguistic clarity, and theoretical approaches to literature and society. This training fostered strong writing and editing capabilities, along with a nuanced understanding of cultural narratives and communication frameworks.

At the postgraduate level, advanced studies were pursued in both International Relations and English. The M.A. in International Relations offered in-depth engagement with global security, diplomacy, international development, geopolitics, AI in International Relations, and international law. It included extensive work on qualitative research design, theoretical frameworks, and geopolitical analysis. A dissertation on the long-term impacts of British colonial strategies in South Asia explored the intersection of history, identity, and contemporary conflict, applying rigorous research methodologies to examine complex regional dynamics.

Concurrently, the M.A. in English provided a platform to further enhance interpretative skills, academic expression, and content structuring. The program covered modern and classical literature, critical theory, and advanced language studies, strengthening the capacity to articulate complex ideas with clarity and precision.

Supplementary academic training through courses such as Development Research Methods and Globalization: Theoretical Perspectives (NPTEL) contributed to a well-rounded understanding of international development and research practices. These certifications supported the development of systematic inquiry, evidence evaluation, and analytical reasoning.

This academic background reflects a strong commitment to interdisciplinary learning, methodological accuracy, and effective communication. The combination of global affairs expertise and language proficiency forms a solid foundation for research, knowledge production, and editorial contribution in international development and related fields.
