Professional Experience:

I started my career in vocational training, where I worked as a manufacturing trainer. My main role was to train young students and workers on CNC and conventional machines. This experience gave me a strong understanding of hands-on training, technical instruction, and how to connect theory with practice.

As I grew in my role, I took on responsibilities beyond training. I started planning training schedules, managing inventories, and handling the procurement of tools and machines. I also worked closely with technical experts from Switzerland and Germany, which helped me learn about dual education models and competency-based training. These experiences built my foundation in how a structured and industry-focused training system should work.

Later, I moved into program and operations management. Over the last three years, my work has focused mainly on managing large-scale training projects with clients like Tata Electronics, TNSDC (Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation), Bajaj, IHFC at IIT Delhi, and NABARD. In these projects, I was responsible for coordinating with training partners, monitoring implementation, ensuring quality delivery, and managing client communications. I also worked on designing project workflows, setting up reporting systems, and making sure the training outcomes matched what the clients and funding partners expected.

One of my key responsibilities was to align training content and delivery with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and industry standards. I worked with training providers to ensure proper trainer deployment, batch tracking, assessment readiness, and documentation. I also handled a lot of the backend operations — from creating dashboards and MIS reports to resolving field-level issues.

In addition to technical skilling, I’ve also worked on programs supported by CSR funds, especially those focused on rural youth, women, and school dropouts. These programs required a different approach — more community engagement, simpler content, and constant follow-up to ensure participation and retention. I’ve also supported awareness campaigns and mobilization drives in low-income areas.

Throughout my journey, I’ve developed strong coordination and stakeholder management skills. I’ve worked with government departments, training partners, academic institutions, industries, and NGOs. I’ve also contributed to proposal writing, budgeting, partner onboarding, and audits. My goal has always been to ensure that the program delivers real value — both to the learners and to the funders.

I’ve also taken a strong interest in sustainable development and how we can include topics like green jobs, climate literacy, and energy-efficient practices in skill development. I believe that the future of skilling lies not only in employment but also in preparing people to face environmental and social challenges.

In summary, my professional experience combines technical training, project execution, and program management, with a strong focus on quality, impact, and collaboration. I enjoy solving operational challenges, building systems from the ground up, and ensuring that education and training programs reach the people who need them the most

Education:

I have a degree in mechanical engineering, which gave me a strong technical foundation. However, my real interest developed when I started working in vocational training. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with Swiss and German experts, where I learned about dual education systems and hands-on, skill-based learning. That experience helped me understand how practical training, structured planning, and strong assessment methods can make a big difference in how people learn and grow.

I started my career as a manufacturing trainer, where I taught both CNC and conventional machines. Later, I moved into planning training schedules, managing inventories, and setting up workshops. This gave me a deep understanding of how to run training programs — from the tools and curriculum to the trainers and industry needs.

In the last few years, I’ve worked mainly as a program and operations manager. I’ve led projects with organizations like Tata Electronics, NABARD, TNSDC, and IHFC at IIT Delhi. Most of my work involved managing large-scale skilling programs, especially in the manufacturing and automation sectors. I also worked with CSR and government initiatives that focused on rural youth, education, and employability.

Through all of this, I’ve seen how important it is to connect education with real industry needs and how powerful it can be when training is accessible, structured, and job-ready. I’m also interested in sustainability and how we can include those ideas in training — like energy efficiency, green manufacturing, and climate-friendly skills.

In short, my education gave me the base, but my real learning has come from the field — running programs, working with experts, and helping people gain the skills they need for better opportunities. I believe education should be practical, inclusive, and focused on the future, and I try to bring that into every project I work on.
