Education:

My educational journey has been driven by a deep-seated passion for understanding human behavior, social structures, and their intricate interplay. This pursuit led me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Sociology, followed by a postgraduate degree in Psychology, forming a comprehensive foundation in both the social sciences and the nuances of individual human behavior.

During my undergraduate studies in Sociology, I immersed myself in exploring the complexities of societal constructs, social stratification, and the myriad ways in which social institutions shape human experiences. Courses in sociological theory, research methods, and social policy provided a robust framework for analyzing and interpreting the multifaceted dynamics of societies. I delved into topics such as gender roles, class systems, race and ethnicity, and their impact on individuals and communities. My coursework also included hands-on research projects, where I employed qualitative and quantitative research methods to investigate social phenomena, honing my skills in data collection, analysis, and critical thinking.

Building on this solid foundation, I pursued a postgraduate degree in Psychology to delve deeper into the individual aspects of human behavior. This academic transition was driven by my belief that a comprehensive understanding of societal issues must be complemented by insights into individual cognitive and emotional processes. My postgraduate curriculum encompassed a wide range of subjects, including developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, abnormal psychology, and psychological assessment. These courses equipped me with a nuanced understanding of how psychological principles apply to various stages of human development and diverse mental health conditions.

A significant component of my postgraduate studies was clinical training, where I gained practical experience in psychological assessment and intervention. Under the guidance of experienced practitioners, I conducted psychological evaluations, provided counseling, and developed treatment plans for individuals facing a range of psychological challenges. This hands-on experience was instrumental in refining my therapeutic skills, enhancing my empathy, and solidifying my commitment to promoting mental well-being.
In addition to my formal education, I actively participated in workshops, seminars, and conferences, staying abreast of the latest developments in both sociology and psychology. These experiences enriched my academic journey, exposing me to diverse perspectives and fostering a multidisciplinary approach to understanding and addressing social issues.

My educational background in Sociology and Psychology and UPSC Civil Services preparation has equipped me with a unique blend of analytical, research, and therapeutic skills. I am now eager to apply this knowledge to the fields of public policy and corporate social responsibility (CSR)and Psychology as well, where I believe I can make a meaningful impact by advocating for evidence-based policies and initiatives that promote social equity and mental well-being.
