Professional Experience:

I am an experienced agricultural professional with over three years of diverse experience. My work focuses on helping farmers, promoting sustainable farming, and managing innovative projects across Assam. My career shows a clear path of growth, from working directly in the fields to coordinating projects across entire districts.
Currently, I work as a Field Technical Supervisor with East-West Seed Knowledge Transfer Foundation. My role involves working directly with farmers to design and run training programs. These programs aim to improve food security and help small farmers earn more money. I work closely with local community groups and government councils to encourage people to join and use modern farming methods. I am also responsible for planning projects, tracking their progress, and working with government departments and other organizations to provide resources for farmers.
Before this, I worked as a District Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Coordinator for a World Bank-funded project called APART. My job was to help build a strong supply chain for medicinal plants. I trained farmers on how to grow these crops, helped people invest in farming businesses, and supported the creation of new small companies, which helped the local economy grow.
My career began as a Field Marketing Executive at Saraswati Agro Life Science. There, I helped the company reach new customers by marketing products and building relationships with large tea gardens and local shops. I also advised farmers on how to protect their crops from pests and diseases and worked with the local pesticide taskforce.

Education:

I hold a Master's degree in Agriculture from Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat, completed in 2022, and a Bachelor's degree in Sericulture from the same university, completed in 2019. My academic journey included hands-on research experience, a 6-month rural Agriculture internship, and certifications in areas like plant disease management and design thinking, preparing me for a career in agriculture and research
