Professional Experience:
I am a development professional with over 19 years of experience across project management, monitoring & evaluation, climate-smart agriculture, microfinance, rural livelihoods, and clean energy. My work has consistently focused on driving impact at scale through a blend of field engagement, strategic planning, and robust data systems.
Currently, I serve as the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Specialist with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in New Delhi, where I lead the M&E function for a GEF-7 funded national project focused on transforming rice-wheat systems across Punjab, Haryana, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh. My role involves developing the national M&E framework, coordinating with the Ministry of Agriculture and project states, and overseeing impact assessments and knowledge generation.
Previously, I led MEL initiatives at Mlinda Charitable Trust, where I worked on productive use of renewable energy and micro-enterprise development in tribal Jharkhand. I also spent over a decade with the Jharkhand Tribal Development Society (JTDS), managing convergence programs, climate resilience initiatives, gender mainstreaming, and performance monitoring for IFAD-supported projects.
My early professional experience includes working in operational and credit roles with ICICI Bank and Fullerton India, as well as engaging with rural enterprises through NGOs. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Development from XISS, Ranchi and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Throughout my career, I have been passionate about integrating evidence with execution, especially in underserved and tribal areas. I take pride in building systems that support informed decision-making and contribute to long-term, inclusive development outcomes.
