Professional Experience:

I have worked in the non-profit sector for 16 years in various capacities. My experience lies in articulating and executing issues from a rights perspective, and I have extensively worked with para lawyers cadre. This has given me an understanding of how law operates at the grassroots level and challenges in delivery of legal services. I also have exposure to the role of law in environment protection work and advocacy to make stakeholders accountable for environmental degradation. I have anchored national level multi stakeholders programs and led large teams, and hence a comprehensive experience in program management. I have also anchored, jointly designed and executed training programs for para lawyers in 5 South Asian countries.

Another field of my experience is capacity building and organisational change & development. I have organised and conducted trainings on organisational issues as well as been part of change processes of some organisations. I have undergone certificate courses in organisational change & development and group moderation.

I am, at this stage,

also keen to explore and work on issues in the arena of environment and sustainable living
interested to explore the area of corporate social responsibility and philanthropy as means of financing the development work in the country.
