Professional Experience:
Lead a team of 16 Block Coordinators to strengthen district and block level health interventions. Supported routine immunization programs including campaigns, cold chain management, Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Days (VHSNDs), 108 Aspirational Block Programme, promotion of institutional deliveries, community follow-up of SNCU graduates, Stop Diarrhea campaign, and also contributed responses to public health emergencies, including Polio, JE-AES, and COVID-19, through planning, capacity building, supportive supervision, use of data and review at various forums. Mobilized cross-sectoral support for the Health Department from Education, ICDS, PRI, Rural Development, Namami Gange, UPSRLM, IMA, IAP, and other stakeholders through strategic convergence.
Key Responsibilities
Presented programmatic updates and ensured follow ups in monthly District Health Society, District Executive Committee, District Nutrition Committee, district ABP review meetings.
-Facilitate field visits of District Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, CMO and other district level authorities to strengthen program oversight.
-Monthly district level coordination and convergence meetings with partners and CSOs to mobilize support for health interventions.
-Lead mapping and ensured engagement of formal/informal institutions and influencers, academic institutions, professional bodies, media, civil societies and public representatives
-Supported district and block level training for the capacity building of FLWs
-Provided training, handholding, supportive supervision to ___ Block Coordinators to achieve programme targets.
-Data analysis for identifications of gaps, creating evidence for scalability of intervention, documentation of best practices, human interest stories etc.
