Professional Experience:

A highly accomplished professional with over a decade of experience in child protection, community development, and organizational transformation.
I have played a pivotal role in designing the strategy for one of the leading child protection prevention programs, which combines education, livelihood, systems strengthening, behavior change, and community ownership models. This comprehensive approach has empowered communities to take ownership of child protection, fostering long-term sustainability and resilience.

In child participation, I led initiatives that empower children within their communities, achieving significant outcomes in fostering children's agency. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I developed child participation modules to ensure safety, offering 12 weeks of continuous engagement and protection strategies.

My curriculum development expertise spans crucial areas such as gender and sexuality education for adolescents, life skills, and integrating psychosocial health and child protection at the Panchayat level. These curricula have been instrumental in guiding educational and protection programs across multiple sectors.

I have managed over 30 projects involving more than 40 grassroots organizations, delivering impactful interventions and fostering strong partnerships. My work in community development includes establishing three women entrepreneur groups in Bihar to promote local economic empowerment and launching youth groups leveraging sports for positive community change.

Additionally, I led a state-level multi-stakeholder research study on the implementation of the POCSO law, providing critical insights that influenced national policy and legal protections for children. Through this research, I also created regional alliances across three states to further implement the POCSO Act and raise awareness about the prevention of sexual offenses against children.

In collaboration with 67 partner NGOs, I led capacity-building initiatives focused on enhancing national child protection laws, with a particular emphasis on the POCSO Act. My work included building regional resource centers across three states, ensuring a collaborative approach to addressing child protection challenges.

I have held senior leadership roles in organizations such as the British Asian Trust, CRY, SAMVAD, Aarambh India Initiative, and Nari Gunjan. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to child protection, education, and community empowerment, delivering impactful programs that drive positive change for vulnerable populations.
