Professional Experience:
In the last 34 years, I have worked in the health sector across several countries, mainly in Bangladesh, India, Liberia, Nepal, The Philippines, and South Africa. I have also provided consultancy in more than 11 other countries. I have developed cross-functional competencies in community health, key populations, social marketing, developing strategies, generating evidence for program and policy development, detailed implementation plans, cost-effectiveness, fraud prevention, budgeting, administration, procurement, capacity building, and human resource management.
I have worked with donors like ADB, the European Commission, The Global Fund, USAID, UNICEF, and the World Bank. I have experience working closely with government institutions, the Ministry of Health, civil society groups, the private sector, and other stakeholders, navigating complex issues like interventions with the most marginalized, influencing policy development, and assisting in generating and using data for planning to revamp the programs if required.
I am eager to learn about new areas and health interventions, keeping pace with a changing environment and technology.
