Professional Experience:

1. Since 2021, working as Senior Policy Fellow at Ministry of Science and Technology's Centre for Policy research, IISc, Bangalore, Hosted at Ministry of S&T, Delhi. Working on analysis of bioenergy in India through Primary and secondar research. Member of various National missions, including the Nation Electric Vehicle Mission; STIP Team; Nation Defense Policy Team, MoST 2022 and National Manufacturing Innovation Survey, India. • Part of the Science Conclave, organising and moderation team at Science City, Ahmedabad, chaired by Prime Minister Sh. Narender Modi, & Ministry of Science of all the state, 2022. Published one self authored book, 81 papers; Google scholar, h-index: 9.

2. July 2018 - Aug 2021 Worked as Assistant Professor, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. teaching Biochemical processes, enzymatic kinetics and numerical methods in computers to Mtech and Btech Final year students.
2. Dec 2016 to July 2018 worked as Project Scientist, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, IIT Delhi. Work includes training of researchers to transfer lab level research to the field, coordination with researchers all across India (17 Institutes), Ministry of Science and Technology, GOI and IIT Delhi, for successful implementation of project proposals. Various national level conferences and brain storming sessions were organized. A compendium of Panchgavya based Products was prepared. Publications and presentations are made on this topic.
2. PhD. the thesis was on " Eco-friendly treatment of Bamboo species under storage conditions" from IIT Delhi. Received Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Research scholar Grant at IIT Delhi (Jan 2011-Jan 2016). Physico-chemical characterization of seven commercially important bamboo species was performed. A compendium of suggestions regarding the utility of species-specific bamboos was prepared in Hindi and English and was distributed to various NGOs, Ministry of Rural Development, and bamboo artisans. Plant extract base preservatives were developed. Supercritical extraction and pressure treatment techniques were investigated for the same. Laboratory, as well as field level (For consecutive 3 years) experiments, were performed. The anti-fungal and anti-termite resistance of treated biomass species were compared to untreated samples. Developed techniques were transferred to bamboo artisans through various workshops and training sessions. Publications in Journal of repute were done. Papers were presented at various international conferences. As an invited speaker presented a paper in Internation conference organized by WASET, London, U.K.
3. Worked as Women Scientist (WOS-B) scheme of Ministry of Science and Technology sponsored project (July 2007- Jan 2011). Received fund of around 12 Lakh from Ministry of Science and Technology, GOI. Field visits to local areas of Dehradun were done. A book on traditional treatment techniques used by villagers to preserve biomass was prepared. Scientific validation of the same was lacking in the literature. Thus, Work involved scientific validation of traditional preservation techniques of biomass. Training and research on the topic. Various workshops of rural artisans were organized.
3. Worked as Project Associate in IIT Delhi (July 2005-June 2006)on compendium writing for rural women entrepreneurs, organization of international workshops and conferences
4. Taught at BITS off campus center, Nagda (June 2001 to Dec 2001) as assistant lecturer. taught subjects: transport phenomenon, environment engineering.
