Dear Sir/Madam,
Vishwa Yuvak Kendra a pioneering organization in the field of youth development. It was established with the active support of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and was inaugurated in 1968 by the then President of India, Dr. Zakir Husain. It organizes workshops, seminars and training programmes for the youth workers of grass-root level NGOs on different developmental issues.
Leadership is a position of responsibility & influence. It is a responsibility to take the organization in the desired direction of progress by influencing and inspiring others to accomplish their individual as well as team and organizational goals. As with anything in life, things do not always go according to plan and leadership is no exception. The direction a leader takes in order to realise their vision is likely to change.
Problems come in all shapes and sizes, from those related to the people in a team when mediation skills may be needed, to those of a more strategic nature and everything in between. Vishwa Yuvak Kendra is organizing a two-day training programme on Leadership and communication skills from 29-30 July,2015.
The following topics will be covered during the programme:
Ø Positive attitude & turn setbacks into success
Ø Managerial effectiveness
Ø Emotional intelligence
Ø Interpersonal communication skill
Ø Business communication
Ø Stress Management
Ø Meditation
In this context, we request you to depute representatives from your organization to participate in the programme. You may kindly note the following:-
Each eligible participant would be required to pay Rs.1,140/-(Rs. 1,000 + Service Tax Rs. 140) towards registration fee by Demand Draft in favor of Vishwa Yuvak Kendra payable at New Delhi
· The participants would be provided free lodging and free boarding at our dormitories (separate for male and female) from 28th July, 2015 evening to 31st July, 2015 afternoon.
· The programme would commence with registration at 10.00 am on 29 July, 2015.
· The medium of instruction will be English and Hindi.
· Travel expenditure will be borne by the participants.
· The registration fee will neither be refunded nor be adjusted against any other programme.
· The participants have to make extra payment as per Kendra rules for food and accommodation before 28th July, 2015 evening and after 31st July, 2015 afternoon.
The participants are requested to report at the reception of Vishwa Yuvak Kendra at 9.30 A.M on 29th July, 2015. The venue of the training programme will be Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, Pt. Uma Shankar Dikshit Road, Teen Murti Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi – 110021
